DEGENERATE GUYS I WENT TO LAW SCHOOL WITH

After I graduated college in 1996 I took the LSAT (twice) and moved to Indianapolis for law school in 1997.  The experience pretty much sucked and my tuition was double that of my peers because I was an out-of-state resident from Wisconsin.  I knew that I'd be paying off student loans until death.  So I left after the first year.  Not all lawyers make the big bucks.  I wanted to be a prosecutor.  They aren't known to have huge salaries.  Nevertheless, I made a lot of friends who I am still in contact with today.  Little did we all know that some of these "friends" were about to be the biggest scumbags of the Class of 2000.

BRUCE DAVIDSON 

Bruce was older than the rest of us. He used to be a cop in Elkhart, Indiana and a former President of the Fraternal Order of Police.  He never mentioned that he was fired from the department for some shady things.  He was the perfect picture of a sociopath who walks among us.  He's the guy you'd never think was suspect. He was outgoing and easy to get along with. No red flags at that time.  Bruce ended up having a secret life that no one knew about. 

In 2004 Bruce became a serial bank robber and was on the FBIs most wanted list.

He was wanted for a series of bank robberies which were committed in 2004 and 2005 in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Maryland, Iowa, and Tennessee. He would enter the bank alone and present the teller with a note demanding money.  In several of the robberies, he walked into the bank carrying a black motorcycle helmet and threatened to use a firearm. A federal arrest warrant was issued June 17, 2005. Source

Bruce was hiding out in Arizona when the Feds found him.  He received 216 months (18 years) for all of the bank robberies and an 84 month (7 years) sentence for brandishing a firearm, which must be served consecutive to the robbery sentence. Source

SCOT O'FARRELL

Scot O'Farrell was another degenerate in my class.  From day one he was a pompous, narcissistic, polo wearing preppy snob. He also thought he was God's gift to all the women in our section. There was a rumor that he was fooling around with a couple of girls in our class and and one of them was married.  After our first semester finals he bragged about his GPA..that he was #1. He made my skin crawl.  Smarmy is the best word I can describe.

Soon after graduation he was online trying to lure girls for sex. He set up a date with a man in Florida who was willing to prostitute his daughter for him. Scot made the trek from Indianapolis to Florida and upon his arrival was greeted by police. The "dad" he was talking to was an undercover cop.  How messed up in the head is this guy? 

After serving his sentence he is still living in Florida. Here's the kicker:  He's a COO for an arena football team called The Orlando Predators. He was also listed as the owner of a company called Scot O'Farrell Lawn Care. He must register as a sex offender everywhere he moves for the rest of his life. 

The moral of the story: Highly educated professional men can be predators too.
